About the Role
We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of primary and secondary schools throughout Doncaster. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils in a range of educational settings while making a positive impact on their learning, development, and wellbeing.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and school staff to provide high-quality support to pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Whether working on a one-to-one basis, in small groups, or within the classroom environment, you will play a key role in helping students reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Support pupils individually and in small groups to enhance their learning and engagement.
Assist teachers in delivering effective and inclusive lessons.
Provide targeted interventions to support academic progress.
Support children and young people with SEND, including autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, speech and language difficulties, and learning disabilities.
Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil independence and confidence.
Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff where required.
Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources.
Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and external professionals.
Adapt support strategies to meet the individual needs of learners across different school settings.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Have previous experience working with children or young people in a school, educational, childcare, or support setting.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be patient, compassionate, and committed to supporting pupil development.
Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working across different schools.
Be confident supporting a variety of learning needs and abilities.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider school team.
Be passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.

£92.50 - £95.00 per day
