How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Bid Writer

    Our client, a leading corporate security provider, is looking for a talented Bid Writer to join its successful Bid team.

    Reporting to the Head of Bids, you'll create compelling, high-quality bid responses that help secure major contracts. This is a fast-paced role where exceptional writing skills, creativity, attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines are essential.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Write engaging, persuasive responses for PQQs, SQs, ITTs and RFPs.

    * Produce high-quality content that is tailored to each client's requirements.

    * Work closely with Operations, Sales, HR, Finance and Subject Matter Experts to gather information.

    * Proofread, edit and format submissions to ensure accuracy and compliance.

    * Manage multiple bids and competing deadlines.

    * Maintain and develop the bid content library.

    * Research clients and competitors to strengthen bid submissions.

    * Support Bid Managers throughout the bid process.

    About You

    You'll be an experienced Bid Writer with:

    * Outstanding writing and proofreading skills.

    * Excellent attention to detail.

    * Experience writing successful bids, ideally within security, FM or outsourced services.

    * Strong organisational and time management skills.

    * The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.

    * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

    * Strong Microsoft Office skills.
