How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

With a focus on rapid proof of concepts (POCs), this role offers the unique opportunity to experiment with novel technologies, accelerate value, and collaborate to create data-driven products that can reshape the organisation and enhance customer experiences.

    Role: Data Innovation Business Analyst

    Duration: 6 Months (Perm options)

    Location: Warwick (2 Days a week in the Office)

    Rate: £500 pd (umbrella)

    Your Role
    As a Data Innovation Business Analyst, you will:

    Identify, prioritise, and execute successful POCs that uncover valuable opportunities for our client.
    Guide innovative ideas from initial discussions through to delivery, working closely with business owners and partners.
    Engage with multidisciplinary teams, including Product Owners, Data Scientists, and Engineers, to drive meaningful outcomes.What You'll Do

    Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
    Interpret and scope innovative ideas into clear, testable hypotheses.
    Manage the end-to-end journey of multiple POCs, ensuring successful delivery and momentum.
    Lead the partner selection process and prepare request-for-proposal materials.
    Actively participate in POC delivery teams, aligning on initiative needs and reporting progress.
    Support onboarding of partners and team members for seamless delivery.
    Attend DCI lab meetings, presenting findings and executing elements of the DCI communication strategy.
    Stay updated on the latest trends in data-driven technologies and AI to identify new business opportunities.What You'll Bring
