Design Manager

Build Space is partnering with a leading General Contractor who is on a real run of form in the Data Centre sector — they have recently secured several high-profile builds in and around London and they are well-placed on a number of other live tenders - they are cooking!

As they continue to scale their Data Centre Division, they have asked us to supply a top class Design Manager to help bolster their team.  As Design Manager you will support both Preconstruction and Delivery design across live and upcoming projects.

Design Manager role

Manage the design process from Preconstruction through to Delivery on Data Centre projects
Work closely with clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure design intent is carried through to site
Support tender and bid activity with design input as the pipeline continues to grow
Based out of Head Office, with site visits as required, and the flexibility to work from home one day a weekDesign Manager experience required

Mid-senior level Design Manager
Previous Data Centre project experience is essential
Proven Design Management experience working for a Tier 1 Construction Main Contractor
Comfortable managing design across both bid and preconstruction and live delivery stages
