We are currently looking to recruit an experienced HGV Tramper Driver for a client in Tamworth who values professionalism and reliability. Job Description your responsibilities will include:
Tramping: Regular long-distance driving, staying away from home for overnight trips.
Strapping: Ensuring loads are securely strapped to the flat bed and compliant with safety standards.
Deliveries & Collections: Transporting goods to various locations across the UK, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Vehicle Maintenance: Keeping your vehicle in a clean and safe condition, reporting any issues promptly.
Documentation: Completing delivery paperwork, including logs and vehicle checks.
Compliance: Adhering to all transport regulations, including driving hours and health & safety protocols.What We’re Looking For
Valid HGV License (C+E) and CPC qualification.
Experience with strapping flat bed trailers
Strong knowledge of transport regulations and road safety.
Ability to work independently, with excellent time management skills.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent service.
Flexibility to work away from home as required.
A professional and courteous manner with clients and colleagues.What We Offer
