Multitask Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for a hardworking and reliable Labourer to join our client’s team based in Nelson.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is looking to build their skills within a busy workshop environment. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of labouring duties, supporting the day-to-day operations of the business, with the opportunity to develop new skills including MIG welding training.
The role will involve:
* Carrying out general labouring duties within a workshop environment
* Heavy lifting and manual handling of materials
* Loading, unloading, and moving stock safely around the workplace
* Using a variety of power tools and workshop equipment
* Assisting skilled operatives with fabrication and assembly tasks
* Preparing materials and components for production
* Keeping the work area clean, tidy, and organised
* Receiving full training and development in MIG welding
The ideal candidate will have:
* A good work ethic and a positive attitude
* A willingness to learn and develop new skills
* The ability to work well as part of a team
* Good attention to detail and a safety-focused approach
* Previous labouring, manufacturing, workshop, or fabrication experience would be an advantage but is not essential
Working Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
* Friday: 8:00am – 2:30pm
Pay Rate:
* £12.71 – £13.00 per hour
