Our client is a growing organisation in Sutton-in-Ashfield who are looking to add a Management Accountant (Qualified, QBE or Part Qualified) to their team.
This role entails EU Trading and is essential experience for this Management Accountant position.
Description
Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Monitor budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
Manage cash flow, ensuring optimal allocation of financial resources.
Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors.
Implement and maintain financial controls to safeguard company assets.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior finance team members as needed.Profile
A successful Management Accountant (Senior) should have:
A recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or be QBE or Part Qualified (actively studying)
Experience with EU Trading.
Understand EU Tax regulations.
Strong technical accounting skills with experience in financial reporting and analysis.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
A proactive and organised approach to meeting deadlines.Job Offer
A salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
