Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 4:30pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Barnsley.
This Machine Operator role is ideal for someone with previous experience within the metals industry, particularly operating rolling mills and router machinery. If you're a reliable and motivated Machine Operator looking for a long-term opportunity, we'd like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Operating rolling mill and router machinery safely and efficiently.
Setting up and adjusting machinery to meet production requirements.
Monitoring product quality and carrying out routine quality inspections.
Working to production targets while following health and safety procedures.
Carrying out basic machine maintenance and reporting any faults.
Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience as a Machine Operator within a metals or manufacturing environment.
Experience operating rolling mills and router machines is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and health and safety conscious.
What's on Offer
