How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Electronics QA Inspector

    Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an experienced QA Inspector / Electronics Test Technician to join their quality team.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role involving inspection, testing, fault finding and quality assurance. You will play a key role in ensuring electronic products meet customer specifications and the highest quality standards before dispatch.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Inspect PCB assemblies and electronic products.

    * Carry out functional testing of electronic assemblies and finished products.

    * Diagnose faults to component level and complete repairs where required.

    * Investigate returned products and identify root causes of failures.

    * Identify, report and help resolve quality issues and non-conformances.

    * Support continuous improvement initiatives and process control activities.

    * Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions.

    * Maintain accurate inspection, test and quality documentation.

    * Support the company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System, including internal audits.

    * Work closely with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to ensure customer requirements are consistently achieved.

    About You

    To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

    * Experience inspecting and testing electronic products.

    * A good understanding of SMT and PCB assembly processes..

    * The ability to fault find to component level.

    * Experience repairing and reworking electronic assemblies.

    * A strong understanding of quality control within electronics manufacturing.

    * Experience working within an ISO 9001 environment.

    * Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

    * Good communication and documentation skills.
