Warehouse Operative - Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative/Team Leader to join our client, who is based in Guildford, Surrey. In this permanent role, you will be responsible for managing daily warehouse operations, including picking, packing, stock control, goods-in, and dispatch activities. Your leadership will ensure that the team runs efficiently and accurately, maintaining high standards of organisation, safety, and productivity. The role involves supervising staff, delegating tasks, supporting process improvements, and ensuring seamless communication across operational functions. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent leadership, and have a hands-on approach to team management.
* Experience within a warehouse or an Assistant Stores Person or similar role with a background in Packaging
* Proactive with the ability to take initiative
* Confident leader with a positive attitude
* Strong organisational skills and capable of managing multiple priorities
* Reliable, hardworking, and adaptable to changing demands
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Experience with warehouse operations and team supervision is preferred
