The Role
You'll lead the delivery of all civil engineering works associated with the construction of a new 132kV substation, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Typical works will include:
* Earthworks and site preparation
* Reinforced concrete foundations
* Cable ducts and trenches
* Drainage and roads
* Security fencing and hardstanding
* Coordination with the electrical contractor and client teams
Requirements
* Proven experience delivering civil engineering projects as a Project Manager.
* Previous experience on substation, power, transmission & distribution, energy or utilities projects is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of NEC contracts, programme management and commercial awareness.
* Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid as a minimum.
* Civil Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) preferred.
