How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Based in Solihull with travel to other sites required. Travel to other sites is fully expensed, with Solihull serving as your base office.

    Description

    As a Senior HR Advisor, you'll be a trusted partner to managers, supporting them across the full employee life-cycle and helping to ensure a positive and consistent employee experience.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers across the business
    Managing employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters
    Supporting the full employee life-cycle, from on-boarding through to off-boarding
    Advising managers on HR policies, procedures and best practice
    Supporting HR projects, change initiatives and continuous improvement activities
    Managing and updating cases through the organisation's HR ticketing system
    Assisting with the development and implementation of people processes and initiatives

    Profile

    Previous experience within a generalist Advisor role
    Strong employee relations experience and confidence managing cases independently
    A good understanding of employment law and HR best practice
    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
    A proactive, solutions-focused approach
    Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload

    Job Offer

    Salary up to £42,000
    Hybrid working arrangement
    Base office is in Solihull with travel to other sites required
    Travel to other sites is fully expensed, with Solihull serving as your base office
