How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Salary: £70,000–£75,000 depending on experience + benefits
    Location: Purley, South London (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days home)

    With over 35 years’ experience across brand strategy, packaging design, artwork, localisation and creative production, our client delivers end-to-end creative solutions from concept through to shelf across multiple international markets.
    Headquartered in South London, with operations across Europe and the USA, the business is entering an exciting period of growth and is looking for an experienced HR leader to shape the people strategy and build the HR function to support the next stage of its journey.
    The Opportunity
    Reporting directly to the Directors and forming part of the Senior Leadership Team, the Head of HR will take ownership of the people strategy, ensuring the business attracts, develops and retains exceptional talent.
    This is a key leadership role for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working in a growing, entrepreneurial environment and can combine strategic thinking with practical delivery.
    You will work closely with the Directors and leadership team to strengthen culture, develop people processes and ensure the business has the right foundations in place to support continued international growth.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Develop and deliver the people strategy aligned with business objectives and future growth plans.
    • Act as a trusted HR partner and adviser to Directors and the Senior Leadership Team.
    • Lead workforce planning, organisational design and succession planning.
    • Build and develop the HR function as the organisation continues to grow.
    • Shape company culture, employee engagement and employee experience.
    • Own the future talent strategy and workforce planning approach.
    • Partner with hiring managers and recruitment partners to attract the right talent.
    • Support senior and specialist recruitment requirements.
    • Review recruitment processes, candidate experience and employer brand.
    • Provide commercially focused HR advice across the business.
    • Lead complex employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinaries, capability and absence.
    • Ensure HR policies, procedures and employment documentation remain compliant.
    • Maintain strong knowledge of UK employment law and international requirements.
    • Support HR strategy across UK and international operations.
    • Oversee payroll, benefits, reward and HR systems.
    • Drive continuous improvement across HR processes, governance and compliance.
    • Provide HR reporting, insight and recommendations to support business decisions.
    • Support managers to develop strong leadership capability.
    • Develop leadership development, learning and career progression initiatives.
    • Champion wellbeing, engagement and employee development.
    • Create a positive, collaborative and high-performing culture.
    About You
    We are looking for an experienced Head of HR / Senior HR professional who is commercially minded, approachable and passionate about building great workplace cultures.
    Ideally you will have:
    • CIPD qualification (ideally Level 5 or above) is desirable, however equivalent senior HR leadership experience will be considered.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience operating at a senior HR level within a commercially focused, growing international organisation.
    • Proven experience leading and developing an HR function.
    • Experience supporting organisational growth, change and transformation.
    • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, employee relations, payroll, reward and HR operations.
    • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence Directors and senior leaders.
