How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Collaborating with planning teams to optimise production runs

Managing inter-company stock transfers and global inventory deployment

Working with demand planners to identify trends and forecast changes

Developing processes that enable efficient global stock movements

Driving improvements in stock turn and inventory efficiency

Modelling inventory scenarios to support working capital decisions

Identifying slow-moving stock and implementing mitigation strategies

Supporting successful new product launches and legacy product exits

Establishing standardised global processes and reporting progress through KPIs

What skills and experience will you need to be successful in the role?

You'll be a highly analytical supply chain professional who enjoys solving complex challenges and influencing stakeholders across a global organisation.

    Essential experience and skills:

Significant experience in stock management, inventory planning, supply chain, or a similar analytical role

Strong experience using ERP/business systems such as JD Edwards (or equivalent)

Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex information and make informed decisions

Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels

    Strong problem-solving and organisational skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong attention to detail

Willingness to travel internationally when required (roughly once a quarter)

    Desirable:

Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline

Experience in a multinational manufacturing environment

Knowledge of global trade regulations, customs requirements, and international shipping standards

Experience delivering process improvement and standardisation initiatives

As well as an exciting opportunity and a competitive salary, what do we have offer?

A defined contribution pension scheme available for all staff

Hopefully never needed, but from day one you will be covered by our life assurance scheme

Occupational Sick Pay and an onsite Occupational Health Service

Confidential 24-hour life management and personal support service for you and your family

Free eye tests are available for all employees
