Location: Coventry
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
Payrate: £15.00-£17.00 per hour PAYE
We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Waste Drivers to join our client's waste and recycling team in Coventry on a temporary ongoing basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for consistent weekday work with no weekend requirement.
## The Role
As an HGV Waste Driver, you will be responsible for:
Driving refuse collection vehicles safely and efficiently.
Working alongside a crew to complete scheduled waste and recycling collections.
Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects.
Ensuring all collections are completed in line with health and safety procedures.
Providing a professional and courteous service to the public.
## Requirements
Applicants must have:
A valid HGV (Class 2 / Category C) Licence.
A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
A valid Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) Card.
A good understanding of driver regulations and health and safety requirements.
Previous experience driving HGV vehicles is preferred
