Salary: £48,003 – £53,172
Essential Qualifications & Professional Requirements
* Degree in Electrical Engineering (or a closely related discipline), or equivalent professional experience
* Training in Building Services Engineering, energy, or sustainability, or equivalent experience
* Evidence of continuing professional development
Desirable:
* Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards accreditation (e.g., IET, CIBSE)
Experience Required
Essential Experience:
* Minimum 5 years’ Electrical Engineering experience (UK-based preferred)
* Experience delivering projects from concept to completion
* Experience managing contractors and administering construction contracts
* Strong budget management and cost control experience
* Knowledge of public sector procurement and governance
Desirable Experience:
* Energy efficiency and decarbonisation project delivery
* Knowledge of mechanical systems and multidisciplinary environments
Key Skills & Knowledge
* Electrical system design with a focus on sustainable/low-carbon solutions
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and best practice
* Understanding of project frameworks (e.g., RIBA Plan of Work)
* Knowledge of CDM 2015 and Building Safety legislation
* Ability to manage risk, compliance, and performance
