Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver's Mate to join our team. In this role, you will assist the driver in delivering white goods to various locations while ensuring that all deliveries are made safely and efficiently. This position requires a strong commitment to teamwork, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting.
Responsibilities
* Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods from the vehicle.
* Ensure that all items are securely packed and organised for transport.
* Help navigate routes and communicate effectively with the driver during deliveries.
* Handle customer interactions professionally, ensuring a positive delivery experience.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during operations.
Skills
* Ability to perform heavy lifting and manoeuvre bulky items safely.
* Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with drivers and customers alike.
* Experience working in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
