How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Head of Corporate Partnerships
Home-based (with frequent travel to internal and external events, networking and other meetings in London and occasionally across the UK, as well as occasional international travel)
    Who We Are
Habitat for Humanity Great Britain is part of the global Habitat for Humanity network, one of the world’s leading housing charities working to tackle poverty and homelessness through safe, decent housing. We believe that having a safe place to call home is life-changing, creating the foundation for healthier lives, better opportunities, and stronger communities.
    What We’re Working Towards
Our vision is a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live, and where housing poverty and homelessness no longer exist. As a humanitarian organisation committed to long-term development and poverty alleviation, we work to create lasting change by building not just homes, but hope, resilience, and opportunity.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join Habitat for Humanity Great Britain at a pivotal moment in our growth. We have ambitious plans to significantly increase our impact, expand our profile and unlock substantial new investment from the private sector. To do this, we are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial and relationship-driven Head of Corporate Partnerships to lead the next phase of our corporate fundraising journey.
    What You’ll Be Doing
As Head of Corporate Partnerships, you will lead our corporate partnerships function, driving significant income generation to support our mission.
Joining us at a pivotal time, you will be tasked with delivering £1.3 million in corporate income and £500,000 in new business during your first year, personally generating a six-figure income and building multi-year partnerships with influential companies.
You will oversee and directly manage the development and delivery of our high-value corporate partnerships strategy, building on existing foundations and creating new opportunities that your team can maximise.
Initially, you will have two direct reports, the New Business Manager and the Volunteer Co-ordinator, but it is envisaged that your team will double in size to four individuals as our charity continues to grow.
A key element of your success will be the ability to offer compelling opportunities for corporations to support housing, climate resilience, community development, employee engagement and international volunteering. The scale, reach and impact corporate partnerships can generate will represent a winning proposition.
    Who We’re Looking For
To join us as our Head of Corporate Partnerships, you will need:
    - A proven track record of securing six-figure+ corporate partnerships, including complex, strategic and multi-year deals
    - Significant experience in corporate fundraising, partnerships or business development within a charitable or similar environment
    - Demonstrable success in building and converting high-value pipelines
    - Experience leading complex negotiations and engaging senior stakeholders
    - Experience leading high-performing teams through growth, change or transformation
    - Commercial acumen, with the ability to align corporate objectives with social impact
    - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior level
    - A data-driven, delivery-focused approach, with a proven ability to meet or exceed ambitious income targets
Please note, this role is not eligible for UK Visa Sponsorship. The successful applicant will need to have a pre-existing Right to Work in the UK.
    What You’ll Receive
    - Salary of £57,000 - £61,000 per annum
    - 25 days’ holiday + Bank Holidays
    - Up to 5% matched pension contributions
    - Employee wellbeing services
    - Flexible working arrangements
    - A sabbatical policy
    - Virtual GP services
    - Two wellbeing days and an annual Habitat Day (extra day of leave)
This is an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished fundraiser and leader with a proven track record of securing high-value corporate partnerships to join our ambitious global charity.
You’ll join us at a pivotal moment in our growth and will have the rare chance to help build a market-leading corporate partnerships function and drive the next phase of our expansion.
And, perhaps most rewardingly, you'll play a pivotal role in helping transform lives around the world, building partnerships that don't just generate income, but create safe homes, stronger communities and brighter futures for families living in housing poverty.
The closing date for this role is 11.59pm on the 16th August 2026.
Unfortunately, because of high volumes of applications, we will not be able to contact unsuccessful applicants. If you haven’t heard from us within a month of the application deadline, please assume that your application has not been successful.
Other organisations may call this role Head of Corporate Fundraising, Head of Strategic Partnerships, Director of Corporate Partnerships, Corporate Partnerships Lead, Head of Business Development, or Strategic Partnerships Manager.
