Multi Task Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Welders on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Nelson. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business offering long-term work with the potential for a permanent position.

The Role

As a Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds while working from engineering drawings and maintaining excellent quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Welding mild steel components

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

* Fabricating and assembling metal products

* Inspecting finished welds to ensure quality standards are met

* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

* Working effectively as part of a production team

Requirements

* Previous welding experience

* Ability to read engineering drawings

* Good attention to detail

* Reliable with a strong work ethic

* Fabrication experience is advantageous but not essential
