How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Customer Service Advisor - TonbridgeSalary: £30,000

    Our client, a reputable company who are a specialist in their field, is hiring a friendly and professional Customer Service Advisor to join their team in Tonbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment where delivering exceptional customer experiences is at the heart of everything they do.

    What you will be doing:
    * Accurately processing customer orders received via phone, email, and online systems.
    * Responding promptly to customer enquiries, complaints, and requests, ensuring service level agreements are met.
    * Collaborating with warehouse and procurement teams to guarantee timely delivery and resolve shipping issues.
    * Monitoring back-order reports and updating customers on potential delays.
    * Pro-actively cross-selling and upselling products in line with promotions.
    * Maintaining and updating customer records in the ERP system (Orderwise).
    * Providing administrative support to sales teams, including preparing quotes and tracking orders.
    * Recording complaints to support root cause analysis and improve service quality.
    * Ensuring compliance with company policies, including data privacy standards.

    What you will bring:
    * Over two years' experience in customer service, order processing, or administration, ideally within wholesale or distribution.
    * Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
    * Calmness under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    * Attention to detail and a proactive approach.
    * Knowledge of office supplies or stationery products is a plus.
    * Experience with sales order systems and Microsoft Office tools.
