How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Location: Poole
    Salary: £29,000–£30,500
    Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
    Contract: Permanent, full-time
    Working arrangement: Office-based

    Talent Guardian is recruiting for an experienced Customer Experience Associate to join a busy, fast-paced customer service team in Poole.

    This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering excellent service, enjoys building strong customer relationships and can confidently resolve queries while identifying opportunities to support sales and business growth.

    What you’ll be doing
    Managing inbound and outbound customer calls.
    Responding to customer queries relating to orders, deliveries, proof of delivery, returns and back orders.
    Logging calls, emails, actions and customer information accurately within the CRM system.
    Recording and resolving customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
    Proactively managing customer accounts and providing regular updates.
    Processing order documentation and customer amendments.
    Reviewing customer data and order information to provide clear, meaningful updates.
    Liaising with Purchasing, Logistics and other internal teams to resolve queries.
    Using internal systems and carrier websites to investigate delivery issues.
    Identifying opportunities to maximise sales and revenue while maintaining excellent customer relationships. What we’re looking for
    Previous experience in customer service, customer experience or account management.
    Confident and professional telephone manner.
    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    A proactive approach with the ability to anticipate customer needs.
    Experience using CRM and order-management systems.
    Good attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.
    The ability to interpret customer and order data.
    A calm, solutions-focused approach to complaints and challenging queries.
