The successful candidate will teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop geographical knowledge, analytical skills, environmental awareness, and an understanding of global issues.
The Role
As a Teacher of Geography, you will:
Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Inspire students through the study of physical, human, and environmental geography.
Plan and deliver lessons that challenge, engage, and support learners of all abilities.
Assess, monitor, and track student progress to ensure strong outcomes.
Develop students' enquiry, research, and critical thinking skills.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can succeed.
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
Support enrichment opportunities, including fieldwork and extracurricular activities.The School

The Successful Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4.
Excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Geography.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
High expectations of student achievement and progress.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
