We are currently recruiting for experienced Dispatch Operatives with valid FLT licenses to support a number of well-established engineering companies throughout the Rotherham & Sheffield area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with dispatch and warehouse experience who is looking for regular day shifts and ongoing work.
The Role
As a Dispatch Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time. You will also be responsible for the safe movement of materials using a Forklift Truck.
Key Responsibilities
Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
Loading and unloading vehicles using an FLT
Moving materials safely around the warehouse and production areas
Checking goods in and out
Completing dispatch paperwork accurately
Maintaining stock accuracy and keeping work areas clean and organised
Working to health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent preferred)
Previous dispatch, warehouse or logistics experience
Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment is advantageous
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
