Reporting to the Manufacturing Team Leader, you will be responsible for meeting production targets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
As a Production Operative, you will:
* Independently carry out assembly work to meet daily production targets
* Interpret and follow engineering drawings and standard operating procedures
* Complete basic documentation using PC systems and internal databases
* Conduct complex quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
* Prepare work areas for the next shift, including housekeeping, materials, and build information
* Liaise with engineering teams to resolve build and test issues
* Support the training of new operators (including motor build processes)
* Assist with engineering testing activities, including dyno testing
* Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations, policies, and procedures

* Has strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
* Works well both independently and as part of a team
Desirable (Not Essential)
The following skills and experience would be advantageous:
* Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
* Knowledge of motor build processes (including stator winding and stacking)
* Electrical IPC awareness, including wiring
* Experience handling PCBs and understanding ESD precautions
* Knowledge of battery building or energy storage manufacturing
* Experience using hand assembly tools
