How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We are currently recruiting for a KS2 Primary Teacher to join one of our fantastic partner primary schools in Barnsley. This role is ideal for a teacher with experience across Key Stage 2 who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons, raising attainment and helping pupils reach their full potential. The school welcomes applications from both full-time and part-time teachers.

    Primary Teacher Responsibilities

    * Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.

    * Plan, prepare and assess learning to support pupil progress and attainment.

    * Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.

    * Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND.

    * Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.

    * Follow school safeguarding, behaviour and curriculum policies at all times.

    * Work collaboratively as part of the wider school team to provide the best outcomes for pupils.

    Primary Teacher Requirements

    * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

    * Experience teaching within a UK primary school, ideally in Key Stage 2.

    * Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.

    * Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

    * An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
