Primary Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
* Support teaching and learning across the primary age range.
* Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to support pupil progress.
* Assist the class teacher in creating a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
* Support pupils of mixed abilities, adapting learning where appropriate.
* Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
* Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times.
* Show initiative while working collaboratively as part of the wider school team.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a UK primary school.
* A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (such as CACHE Level 2 or Level 3) is desirable but not essential with suitable experience.
* A positive, proactive and reliable approach to supporting children's learning.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
