Night Shift Supervisor

Night Shift Workshop Supervisor Location: Daventry

Salary: £58,656 per annum

Hours: 48 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 18:00–06:30

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join an established commercial vehicle business based in Daventry.

This is a hands-on leadership role within a busy workshop environment. You will supervise a team of technicians, coordinate the nightly workload and ensure all maintenance and repair work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The Role

·         Supervising and leading a team of technicians during nightly workshop operations

·         Coordinating and scheduling vehicle maintenance and repair work

·         Allocating work and monitoring progress throughout the shift

·         Ensuring an efficient workflow and that deadlines are met

·         Providing technical guidance and support to the workshop team

·         Overseeing the availability of required parts and workshop supplies

·         Implementing safety procedures and ensuring regulatory compliance

·         Supporting and training team members to maintain high service standards

·         Remaining actively involved in the technical side of the workshop

What We’re Looking For

·         Strong technical knowledge of HGVs or commercial vehicles

·         Previous leadership or supervisory experience

·         The ability to lead and support a team of technicians

·         A hands-on approach to workshop operations

·         The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

·         Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

·         A highly organised, reliable and safety-conscious approach
