Vision for Education are recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a primary-aged pupil with complex needs at a specialist SEN school in Coventry from September.

About the School Setting
The school supports primary-aged pupils with a wide range of additional needs, including:
Complex learning difficulties
Physical disabilities
Autism (ASC)
Communication and interaction needs
Medical and sensory needs
The successful candidate will be working closely with an individual pupil who requires high levels of support both academically and physically. Personal care and physical assistance form an essential part of this role.
The Role
The successful 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant will:
Provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day
Assist with learning activities tailored to the pupil's individual needs
Support communication and engagement in lessons
Provide personal care, including toileting and hygiene support
Assist with mobility, positioning and physical support where required
Support emotional wellbeing and social development
Work closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals
Build a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil
This role requires patience, resilience and a genuine commitment to supporting children with complex needs.

Previous experience within an SEN or care setting is highly desirable.
