How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    HGV2/LGV2/Class2/ClassTwo/Category C Driver

    Our client based in Birmingham are seeking a professional HGV2/LGV2/Class2/ClassTwo/Category C Driver to work for them on an ongoing basis

    As a HGV2/LGV2/Class2/ClassTwo/Category C Driver your duties will include:

    Driving a HGV2/LGV2/Class2/ClassTwo/Category C vehicle
    Delivering various retail goods to including alcohol, tobacco, soft drinks, snacks etc to stores nationwide
    Maximum 11 drops per shift
    All stock is kept either on a tail lift or cage therefore you will be asked to move these onto the rear of the vehicle where they will be unloaded by a store colleague
    Curtain and box sided vehicle
    The ideal HGV2/LGV2/Class2/ClassTwo/Category C Driver will have the following:

    A valid HGV2/LGV2/Class2/ClassTwo/Category C driving licence
    An in date digital tachograph and driver CPC card
    No major driving convictions
    Have a minimum 12 months HGV2/LGV2/Class2/ClassTwo/Category C experience
    The successful HGV2/LGV2/Class2/ClassTwo/Category C Driver can expect the following:

    An hourly pay rate of between £15.50ph (Internal PAYE plus holiday pay) to £20.42ph (Via our FCSA approved umbrella provider on a PAYE basis)

    Local branch based support
    Ongoing work on offer
