About the Role
In this role, you will work closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality lesson support. You will:
* Deliver engaging learning activities alongside the teacher
* Support children with reading, writing, and numeracy
* Help create a stimulating, safe, and supportive learning environment
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support as needed
* Encourage children’s social, emotional, and academic development
The Ideal Candidate
Ideally candidates will have a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, and you should already have experience working with children. Additionally, you will bring:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A patient, caring and positive approach
* Effective behaviour-management strategies
* The ability to collaborate well with colleagues
* Creativity and enthusiasm for early learning
* A solid understanding of safeguarding and child development

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
