Working independently you will be responsible for managing your day to day workload, carrying out scheduled body maintenance/servicing, repairs and breakdowns, and managing external maintenance providers.
Support the commercial depot with compliance and service schedules.
Run diagnostics on vehicles, knowledge of Texa equipment desirable, however training will be provided.
Hydraulic, electrics, pneumatics, engine & aftertreatment diagnostics and repairs.
Work within Health & Safety regulations and be responsible for your safety and those around you.
Complete roadside repairs when necessary.What we're looking for;
Previous experience working on waste disposal vehicles (desirable).
Hold a HGV driving licence (desirable)
Experience diagnosing complex electrical/hydraulic faults
Must have own tools
Hold a current IRTEC licence (desirable)
Hold a level 3 in HGV maintenance and Repair or equivalent apprenticeship and time servedWhat's next?
