You'll be joining an established team delivering a broad mix of education and public sector projects, taking the lead on commercial matters while supporting junior members of the team.
The role:
Managing projects from a commercial perspective through all project stages
Producing and reviewing cost plans
Running procurement exercises and preparing tender documentation
Administering NEC and JCT contracts
Managing valuations, variations and final accounts
Acting as the main commercial contact for clients
Supporting and mentoring junior Quantity Surveyors
About you:
Previous Quantity Surveying experience within a consultancy is preferred, although contractor experience will also be considered
Experience working on education or public sector projects would be beneficial
DfE project experience is an advantage but not essential
Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts
MRICS qualified or working towards chartership
Able to build strong relationships with clients and project teams
