How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Vehicle Panel Beater

    Location: Amesbury
    Salary: £54,600 per annum (£21.00 per hour), increasing on successful completion of probation

    Working within a clean, well-equipped accident repair centre, you'll repair a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer and insurance standards while benefiting from a supportive team environment and an outstanding employee package.

    The Role

    As a Vehicle Panel Beater, you'll be responsible for repairing accident-damaged vehicles back to their pre-accident condition using the latest repair methods and equipment. You'll work efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality standards and collaborating closely with the wider bodyshop team.

    Responsibilities

    Carry out high-quality panel repairs and panel replacement.
    Weld, bond and align replacement panels and vehicle components.
    Complete MET duties including rebuilding doors, fitting front panels and refitting vehicle components where required.
    Prepare repaired panels using fillers and sealants ready for paint.
    Repair vehicles in line with manufacturer and insurance repair standards.
    Work on Hybrid and Electric Vehicles using approved repair methods.
    Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
    Ensure all work is completed efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards.
    Skills & Qualifications

    Previous experience as a Vehicle Panel Beater within an accident repair centre.
    Excellent knowledge of modern vehicle repair techniques.
    Experience repairing Hybrid and Electric Vehicles is highly desirable.
    Confident carrying out structural and cosmetic panel repairs.
    Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
    Able to work independently and as part of a busy team.
    Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.

    Working Hours
