How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Lead the Enterprise Technology Strategy of a Business Investing Heavily in its Digital FutureOur client is embarking on a major enterprise-wide technology transformation, supported by significant investment and a clear long-term digital strategy.

This is an opportunity to become the organisation's Enterprise Architecture leader, shaping how technology enables future growth across cloud, enterprise applications, data, AI, automation and modern digital platforms.

Working directly with Executive leadership, you'll define the enterprise architecture roadmap that supports business strategy while ensuring technology remains scalable, secure, commercially focused and fit for the future.

If you enjoy influencing at Board level, solving complex business challenges and building enterprise technology that genuinely transforms organisations, this is the role you've been waiting for.

The OpportunityThis is far more than a traditional Enterprise Architect position.

You'll be joining an organisation that sees technology as a strategic business enabler rather than simply an IT function.

You'll influence investment decisions, shape technology direction and help create an architecture capable of supporting long-term growth, innovation and operational excellence.

Working across multiple business functions, you'll bridge the gap between commercial strategy and technical delivery, ensuring technology decisions create measurable business value.

    What You'll Be Doing
Define and own the Enterprise Architecture strategy.

Develop the long-term technology roadmap aligned to business objectives.

Lead architecture across Microsoft Azure and enterprise cloud platforms.

Shape future enterprise applications and modernise existing technology.

Design scalable integration strategies using APIs, Azure Integration Services and cloud-native technologies.

Drive architecture across AI, Microsoft Copilot, automation and emerging technologies.

Establish architecture governance, standards and best practice.

Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend future investment.

Work closely with Executive stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and translate these into enterprise technology solutions.

Partner with Software Engineering, Data, Infrastructure and Delivery teams to ensure architectural consistency across programmes.

Become the trusted technology adviser to senior business leaders.

What We're Looking ForYou'll be an experienced Enterprise Architect who combines strategic thinking with technical credibility.

You'll understand how technology enables commercial success and be comfortable influencing senior stakeholders, challenging thinking and shaping organisational direction.

Just as importantly, you'll have experience working within large, complex B2B organisations where enterprise CRM platforms form part of a wider integrated technology ecosystem.

You'll understand how CRM platforms interact with finance, contracts, billing, operational workflows, compliance, data platforms and customer lifecycle management, enabling technology to support both commercial growth and operational delivery.

Experience of enterprise-scale system integration and data-rich environments supporting multiple business functions will be highly advantageous.

    Essential Experience
Extensive experience as an Enterprise Architect, Principal Architect or Lead Solution Architect.

Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud-first architecture.

Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale architecture within complex organisations.

Strong understanding of enterprise integration, APIs, event-driven architecture and cloud-native solutions.

Experience developing enterprise technology roadmaps aligned to business strategy.

Experience architecting integrated business platforms supporting multiple operational functions.

Significant experience of enterprise CRM environments and how they integrate with wider business systems including finance, contracts, operational workflows, reporting and data platforms.

Strong stakeholder management and executive influencing skills.

You'll join during one of the most significant periods of technology investment in its history, giving you genuine influence over enterprise architecture, cloud strategy, AI adoption and digital transformation.

This is an opportunity to shape the future—not simply support it.

You'll work alongside an ambitious leadership team that recognises technology as a critical driver of innovation, operational excellence and competitive advantage.

Hybrid WorkingThis role operates on a hybrid basis with 2-3 days per week spent in the Midlands office.

Enterprise Architecture is fundamentally collaborative. Success comes from building trusted relationships, influencing stakeholders and working closely with business leaders, developers and delivery teams to shape strategic decisions.
