How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Job Role: Mechanical Project Manager

    Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 + Car Allowance + Travel Allowance + Pension + Healthcare + Bonus

    Location: Central London

    We are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to join our Building Services Team located in London.

    Reporting to the Senior PM responsible for the project, you will effectively and professionally lead the day-to-day management, within a large-scale multi-disciplinary commercial project. Your scope will include design, procurement, installation, logistics, compliance, commissioning, and project handover. You will be responsible for ensuring delivery to time, commercial performance, governance, and company values throughout all phases of the project’s delivery to the satisfaction of the client.

    What you’ll do:

    * Ensure full compliance of design, engineering, construction, and commissioning processes.

    * Add value to the design process by challenging solutions, methods, and techniques where appropriate to deliver works within the contract programme, improve buildability, and reduce whole life costs and carbon.

    * Develop and administer controls on the project or workplace and ensure full implementation and compliance.

    * Ensure lessons learnt are captured and shared with the wider business for consideration on future projects.

    * Understand, develop, scrutinise, deliver, and monitor the end-to-end programme. Be responsible for creating contingency plans in relation to specific package responsibilities.

    What you’ll bring to the role:

    * Appropriate knowledge and experience to manage multiple disciplines/interfaces and work sequencing.

    * Proven track record in successfully delivering large-scale MEP contracts within a team environment.

    * Formal H&S training accreditations, minimum SMSTS.

    * Demonstrated experience in leading teams and projects successfully
