How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Graduate Data Entry Clerk – Temporary (4 Week Cover)

    Location: Tamworth
    Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
    Hours: Full-Time

    We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Graduate Data Entry Clerk to join their team in Tamworth on a temporary four-week assignment.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with strong administration and data entry skills who enjoys working with large volumes of information and has a keen eye for detail. The role will involve supporting a data migration project by transferring information from existing documentation into a new asset management system.

    Key Responsibilities

    Reviewing existing risk assessments, service sheets, and supporting documentation
    Extracting and accurately entering asset information into a new system
    Recording physical tap information, coding tower details, and asset locations
    Gathering and transferring fact-finding information to ensure records are complete
    Maintaining a high level of accuracy when inputting and updating data
    Checking information for completeness and correcting any discrepancies where required
    Organising and managing documentation throughout the data migration process
    Working to project deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail
    Providing general administrative support to the project team when required
    Candidate Requirements

    Graduate-level education or equivalent
    Previous administration or data entry experience is advantageous but not essential
    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
    Strong organisational and time management skills
    Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
    Ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining a high standard of work
    Good written and verbal communication skills
    Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
