How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Opportunity: Revenue Analyst
    Location: Warwick (Hybrid - 1 Day Onsite Per Week)
    Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract until 01/08/2027
    Salary: £42,781 - £54,275 per annum

    Key Responsibilities:
    As a Revenue Analyst, you will:

    Collaborate with the Revenue Accountant to manage revenue financials, including actuals, budgets, forecasts, and regulatory returns.
    Support the month-end revenue process by verifying the accuracy and completeness of all inputs and outputs.
    Analyse revenue-related balance sheet positions and assist in reconciling control accounts regularly.
    Prepare insightful financial reports on revenue, highlighting key variances and addressing queries across Finance and the business.
    Ensure proper execution of controls within the function, escalating any issues as necessary.
    Serve as a subject matter expert on revenue-related queries and contribute to ad-hoc projects, particularly those involving regulatory changes.
    Build knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements to ensure compliance and accuracy.What We're Looking For:
    We want someone who brings enthusiasm and expertise to the table! You should have:

    Transactional Accounting Experience: Essential for understanding accounting entries, P&L, and month-end processes.
    A minimum of AAT qualification or relevant degree with experience is essential.
    Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a willingness to research licences and codes to understand revenue impacts.
    Governance and Risk Management Knowledge: A solid understanding of internal control frameworks is crucial.
    Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Workday and Ivaluer would be beneficial.
