How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

IT Systems Analyst – WMS & Infrastructure

    Worcestershire

    Salary: £30,000 – £35,000

Are you an IT Systems professional with strong WMS experience looking to take ownership of business-critical systems within a fast-paced, global environment?

We are partnering with a highly successful, multi-site food manufacturing and distribution business based in Worcestershire. Operating a fully integrated, global supply chain, they are looking for an IT Systems Analyst to join their team.

Reporting directly to the Group Head of IT, you will be the key point of contact for system enhancements, process improvements, and day-to-day support. This is a brilliant role combining Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) administration with broader enterprise IT infrastructure support.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * WMS Administration: Full ownership of the Warehouse Management System, including system configurations, user setups, security permissions, and regular data integrity audits.

    * Infrastructure & App Support: Deliver crucial support for enterprise-level business applications, ERP systems (Oracle EBS), and underlying IT infrastructure.

    * Process Improvement: Collaborate closely with end-users and senior stakeholders to translate operational business needs into technical system requirements.

    * Reporting & Data Analysis: Generate, write, and analyse reports to monitor system performance, identify operational trends, and recommend improvements.

    * User Support: Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting system issues, providing training, and supporting warehouse and office staff.

    What We Are Looking For:

    * Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting and administering an enterprise-level Warehouse Management System (WMS).

    * Solid foundational experience supporting IT infrastructure, hardware, or core business applications.

    * A good understanding of SQL is essential.

    * Exposure to major ERP software (experience with Oracle E-Business Suite / EBS is highly advantageous).

    * Experience creating reports using BI tools such as Power BI, SplashBI, or SSRS is desirable.

    * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical partners and non-technical warehouse/operations teams
