We are looking for Field Based Fitters to work across the UK and World Wide.
You will be willing to work away from home, be self motivated and have a background and experience of working on client sites.

As a Fitter – Assembler, you will:
* Assemble bespoke machinery to a high standard using technical drawings
* Use hand, power, and precision measuring tools proficiently
* Set up machinery and equipment for various material types
* Carry out safety checks and maintain a clean, efficient work area
* Assist with welding and troubleshoot mechanical issues
* Work both independently and as part of a skilled team in a fast-paced environment
Candidate Requirements:
* City & Guilds or equivalent relevant experience
* Mechanical fitting and assembly experience
* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Familiar with safe working practices and PPE
* Experience using overhead cranes (training provided)
* Competent with tools such as grinders and drills
* Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
Desirable:
* Apprenticeship-trained in engineering
* Bench fitting qualification
* Health & Safety qualifications
Salary description
£15.00 - £18.00 per hour
