How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Preparing manufacturing information and production take-offs
    * Liaising with customers, architects and engineers to ensure technical accuracy
    * Supporting technical submissions and product approvals
    * Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and add value through practical design solutions
    * Ensuring projects remain technically compliant while supporting cost-effective delivery
    What We're Looking For

    * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    * Excellent attention to detail
    * Confidence working with technical drawings or engineering information
    * Strong Microsoft Excel skills
    * Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues
    * The ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines
    Desirable Experience
    Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
    * AutoCAD or similar CAD software
    * Windows, doors or glazing products
    * Construction or manufacturing
    * Architectural technology, engineering or another technical discipline
    * NHBC or other warranty provider standards
    What's on Offer?
    * Join a growing and well-established business
    * Varied technical projects from bespoke homes through to major residential developments
    * Supportive and collaborative team environment
    * Long-term career development opportunities
    * Permanent full-time position
    * Competitive salary based on experience
    If you enjoy working with technical information, have a keen eye for detail and are looking to develop your career within a successful manufacturing business, we'd love to hear from you
