How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Year 5 Teacher - Autumn Term

    Woodford, Redbridge | MPS 1-6 (up to MPS6) £215 - £258 | Full-Time | Autumn Term

    Are you an experienced and passionate Key Stage 2 teacher looking for your next opportunity this Autumn?

    A welcoming and ambitious 2-form entry primary school in Woodford, Redbridge is seeking an exceptional Year 5 Teacher to join their team for the Autumn term. Due to a late resignation, the school is moving quickly with interviews and observation lessons taking place immediately.

    This is an excellent opportunity to teach a well-settled class who have successfully completed Year 4 together and are ready to embark on their Year 5 journey. The school has high expectations for both achievement and behaviour and is looking for a teacher who can inspire pupils to reach their full potential.

    The successful candidate will:

    Be an experienced primary teacher (ECTs are not eligible for this position).

    Have strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly Upper KS2.
    Be a confident, reflective practitioner with excellent classroom practice.
    Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
    Demonstrate positive and effective behaviour management strategies.
    Share the school's commitment to high standards and excellent outcomes for all pupils.
