Select Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client in Norwich for a Machine Manufacturing Operative to join their growing manufacturing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with assembly or manufacturing experience who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing high-quality products. You'll be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment while working to production schedules and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and test mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical products.
Follow engineering drawings, build instructions, and production procedures accurately.
Complete sub-assembly and spares work orders within agreed timescales.
Work to daily production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve issues and support process improvements.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Provide support to other departments when required.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
Confident using hand tools and assembly equipment.
Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Good problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
