Shifts: 4 days over 7 | 14:30–16:30 starts | Approx. 10-hour shifts
CareerMakers Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a temp-to-perm opportunity based in the LS27 area.
This role involves delivering to restaurants and hospitality venues. Drivers must be comfortable with manual handling, including cage work and handball deliveries.
Duties
* Deliver to restaurants and hospitality venues.
* Complete 8–12 drops per shift.
* Carry out handball and cage deliveries.
* Drive vehicles ranging from 7.5T to 26T.
* Work a 4-on-7 shift pattern on an 8-week rota, including weekends.
* Complete vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
* Comply with all road transport and health & safety regulations.
Requirements
* Minimum 24 months' HGV driving experience.
* Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence.
* Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
* Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
* Physically fit and able to carry out heavy manual handling.
* Reliable, professional and safety-conscious.
