How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    CCTV & Access Control Engineer

    Are you an experienced CCTV & Access Control Engineer looking to join a company that genuinely values quality, customer service and technical excellence?

    We're exclusively recruiting for an established electronic security specialist delivering bespoke security solutions across Central London. This is a service and maintenance-focused role where you'll work with a wide range of commercial clients, ensuring their security systems remain reliable, compliant and operating at peak performance.

    The Role

    You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and fault-finding on a variety of electronic security systems across multiple client sites.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    Planned preventative maintenance of CCTV and access control systems

    Diagnosing and repairing faults on CCTV, IP cameras, NVRs, DVRs and associated equipment

    Servicing access control systems including readers, controllers, locks and intercoms

    Carrying out minor upgrades and system modifications

    Configuring user access rights and door schedules

    Supporting basic IP network configuration including IP addressing and VLANs

    Completing service documentation and maintenance records

    Delivering outstanding customer service whilst working independently across client sites

    About You

    We're looking for someone with strong technical ability and an excellent customer-focused approach.

    You'll ideally have:

    5+ years' experience within CCTV and Access Control engineering

    Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

    Experience working with IP CCTV systems

    Knowledge of NVRs, DVRs, cameras and security peripherals

    Experience servicing access control systems

    Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, switches, VLANs, remote access)

    ECS Card

    Full UK Driving Licence

    Excellent communication and customer service skills

    Ability to work independently across multiple sites
