How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SEND Class Teacher – Special School 
    Are you an experienced SEND teacher who is passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive? A fantastic special school in Solihull is looking to appoint a SEND Class Teacher to join its dedicated team.

    This specialist setting provides an exceptional learning environment for pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties and communication needs. The school has invested heavily in its facilities, creating engaging learning spaces that allow pupils to develop academically, socially and emotionally.

    As a SEND Class Teacher, you will teach a small group of pupils, tailoring lessons to meet individual needs and celebrating every achievement, no matter how big or small. You will be supported by skilled Teaching Assistants who know their pupils well and work collaboratively with teachers to create positive learning experiences.     What You'll Be Doing:

    Delivering engaging lessons that are adapted to meet a wide range of learning needs
    Creating a calm, structured and stimulating classroom environment
    Supporting pupils to develop communication, independence and confidence
    Working alongside experienced Teaching Assistants and specialist professionals
    Contributing to personalised learning programmes and EHCP outcomes
    Assessing progress and celebrating pupil achievements
    Building strong partnerships with families and external agencies
    Encouraging pupils to develop socially, emotionally and academicallyWhat We're Looking For:

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
    A genuine passion for working with children with SEND
