Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
We are currently seeking a Goods Out Operative to join one of our clients who have a busy and growing team in Barnsley. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and organised individual with experience in dispatch and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the goods out area efficiently and accurately
Preparing and dispatching orders in line with customer requirements
Booking shipments and inputting data onto courier portals
Using warehouse management systems (WMS) and general PC systems
Operating counterbalance (CB) forklifts with a focus on safety and accuracy
Ensuring all dispatch documentation is completed correctly
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Requirements:
Valid Counterbalance (CB) forklift licence
Proven experience using gas-powered forklift trucks
Strong experience working within a goods out / dispatch environment
Confident using a PC for data entry and dispatch systems
Good attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
A proactive and reliable attitude
