How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Summary.


    Client Delivery & Execution Leadership:

    Lead the mobilisation and delivery of core Digital PMO Services across planning, cost, risk, change, and reporting functions. Act as a key point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring service outputs are high-quality, timely, and aligned with programme objectives. Drive consistency and assurance across PMO activities while embedding scalable, sustainable delivery practices that support real-time decision-making.


    Service Development & Operational Excellence:


    Support the evolution of Movar’s Digital PMO Services offering by refining delivery frameworks, reporting templates, and control processes. Develop repeatable approaches to support project and portfolio-level implementation. Collaborate with other service leads to align delivery standards with broader business transformation goals.


    Digital Enablement & Tool Adoption:


    Champion the use of digital tools and data-driven solutions, including Power BI, Primavera P6, SharePoint, and the Microsoft Power Platform. Work alongside data and automation specialists to improve PMO workflows, automate reporting, and support the integration of controls systems. Promote continuous improvement through digital innovation.


    Team Development & Capability Building:


    Mentor junior consultants and analysts, supporting their technical and professional development. Create a collaborative environment focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, training material development, and the refinement of service playbooks and toolkits.


    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

    • Proven experience delivering PMO in major infrastructure or defence or Nuclear controls
    • Expertise across key PMO domains – schedule, cost, risk, change, and reporting
    • Led PMO or Project Controls Teams
    • Audit / assurance experience
    • Must be willing to work onsite in Glasgow
    • Strong technical skills in Power BI, Excel, and at least one of: Primavera P6, SharePoint, Power Platform
    • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and manage delivery across multiple clients
    • Experience mentoring or leading small delivery teams
    • Utilities experience highly beneficial


    QUALIFICATIONS:


    • Demonstrable experience in PMO, project controls, or digital delivery roles
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
    • Familiarity with NEC contract environments and enterprise portfolio reporting (desirable)
    • Professional certifications in project controls or analytics tools (e.g. APM, P6, Power BI) are a plus
