How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    adi Automotive Electrical Services Supervisor
    Location – Various Automotive Manufacturing Sites (Gaydon, Warwick and Oxford areas)
    About the Role
    We're looking for a Working Supervisor who enjoys leading from the front and is happy to remain hands on, working alongside the team to deliver high quality results.Working across a number of leading automotive manufacturing facilities, primarily in the Gaydon, Warwick and Oxford areas, you will be responsible for supervising teams of electricians, coordinating electrical projects, and ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
    Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
    * Supervising and supporting teams of electricians across automotive manufacturing sites.
    * Managing day-to-day electrical projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and within budget.
    * Coordinating labour, materials and subcontractors to meet project requirements.
    * Monitoring quality, inspection and testing documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
    * Conducting site inspections and safety audits, ensuring adherence to Health & Safety procedures.
    * Liaising with clients, site engineers and suppliers to support successful project delivery.
    * Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
    * Assisting with quotations, estimates and project planning activities.
    * Building strong customer relationships and delivering a high standard of service.
    About you
    We would like to hear from you if you have:
    * Experience supervising electrical works within industrial, manufacturing, automotive or similar environments.
    * Proven ability to lead teams while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and workmanship.
    * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
    * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
    * City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection and Testing.
    * Knowledge and experience of Electrical Installation Condition Reporting (EICR).
    * A full UK driving license.
