How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    A leading construction consultancy in London is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their residential team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with strong residential experience to lead high-quality housing, build to rent, private residential, and mixed-use schemes.

    The Senior Project Manager will take ownership of residential projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and senior stakeholders. This Senior Project Manager role would suit a confident Senior Project Manager who can lead project teams, manage client relationships, and deliver successful outcomes across multiple residential commissions. The successful Senior Project Manager will join a busy residential team with a strong London project pipeline.

    You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

    The Senior Project Manager's role

    The Senior Project Manager will lead residential projects across London, including private residential, build to rent, affordable housing, and mixed-use developments.

    The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for programme management, procurement, consultant coordination, contract administration, risk management, project reporting, stakeholder engagement, and overall project delivery from feasibility through to completion.

    The Senior Project Manager will chair meetings, manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee project performance, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

    The successful Senior Project Manager will have:

    Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment
    Strong residential project experience
    Experience delivering private residential, build to rent, affordable housing, or mixed-use schemes
    A proven ability to lead projects from inception through to completion
    A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a similar construction-related discipline
    MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or working towards a relevant professional qualification
    Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and residential project delivery
    Excellent client-facing, communication, and leadership skills
    A proactive and commercially aware approach
