Senior Project Manager Construction Consultancy

A leading construction consultancy in London is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their established commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with strong commercial project experience to lead the delivery of high-profile office, fit out, refurbishment, and mixed-use developments across London.

The Senior Project Manager will take ownership of complex commercial projects from inception through to completion, working closely with major clients, consultants, contractors, and senior stakeholders. This Senior Project Manager role would suit a commercially focused Senior Project Manager who is confident leading project teams, managing client relationships, and delivering successful outcomes across multiple commissions. The successful Senior Project Manager will play an integral role within a respected consultancy, with opportunities to mentor junior team members and contribute to the continued growth of the commercial division.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience as a Project Manager to be considered for this role.

The Senior Project Manager's role

The Senior Project Manager will lead the successful delivery of commercial projects across London, including office developments, CAT A and CAT B fit outs, refurbishments, landlord works, and occupier projects.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for programme management, procurement, consultant coordination, contract administration, risk management, project reporting, stakeholder engagement, and overall project delivery from feasibility through to completion.

The Senior Project Manager will chair client and project meetings, manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee project performance, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. They will also support junior colleagues through mentoring while maintaining and developing strong client relationships.

The Senior Project Manager

The successful Senior Project Manager will have:

Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment
Extensive commercial project experience
Experience delivering office, fit out, refurbishment, landlord, or occupier projects
A proven ability to lead projects from inception through to completion
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a similar construction-related discipline
MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or working towards a relevant professional qualification
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial project delivery
Excellent client-facing, communication, and leadership skills
The ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
